52: Get Out! Monsanto-Bayer Banished from New York

Oh we mean BANNED. The Church of Stop Shopping and The Black Institute helped ban the carcinogenic pesticide RoundUp from NYC parks. On Earth Day, the NY City Council unanimously banned this poison.

1,700 parks and 30,000 acres of greenery are filling up with children and picnics and lovers and joggers and birdwatchers. Now they won’t have to risk getting cancer. (Monsanto invented Agent Orange, Bayer manufactured Zyklon B gas and ran a slave-labor factory at Auschwitz). Hopefully throughout this country and the world these corporations will be sidelined by fines, jury awards, class actions by cancer victims. Hopefully they will be controlled by governments that work for the health of people.
